The actors

What do you think about the actors that they chose for the leads in the films?
I love all of them except for one that I was a tad disappointed in. The three kids leads rock and the teachers and the other students are very, very cool!
However, my one disappointment was Richard Harris in the first two movies. I thought that he portrayed Dumbledore as a frail, wise, old man. I think that Dumbledore should be portrayed as wise, and powerful... but not really powerful, just that flare that Ian McKellan has as Gandalf in the LOTR films. Frankly, I was hoping and hoping that Ian McKellan would be the new Dumbledore. He would have been awesome!

i liked all the people they chose for the lead roles. i think they did a good job pickin them

Richard Harris, RIP...
but Michael Gambon, in my opinion, is going to ROCK as Dumbledore.
The three kids kick "fanny" LOL.  , and Gary OLdman is going to leap off of the screen as Sirius.
We'll just have to see about the rest of the newcomers.

I didnt imagine Lupin to look like Thewlis. But I'll have to see what the character is like...

yeah when i pictured lupin i didnt picture him looking at all like thewlis at all but he might still be a good lupin we'll just have to wait and see

What do you mean? You haven't even seen clips of the actors in PoA yet. How would you know that they messed up without even seeing it?

Ahh, you're wrong there, Mahwish...
They do get uniforms! The pictures that we have seen have all been rehearsals, but it has been confirmed that they will wear uniforms in the third film.

We know that the three kids can't continue in their roles, so who would be good to replace them? I think it would be neat-o if Harry became like digitally animated or something. They could do all sorts of new magic and things with it then. I mean the actors now are fine but who is gonna replace them?
