GOT HIM

At 8:30 pm, Saturday, December 13th, Saddam Hussein was found in a hole the size of a coffin, near the Tigris River. He had a really shaggy beard and lice. He was staying in what is believed to be the guesthouse of one of his friends.
More information on this as it comes in, but

Yeh the news interupted the movie over here which was Wild Things(a great movie I must say) and went on for like an hour and a half. By the end of it I was angry and tired and frustrated because I had the tv on to watch the movie not to see some boring (for my family) news story that could have waited at least an hour for the movie to be over. Yeh they got him, big deal, they didn't have to show us that whole thing over and over again, I was ready to throw the remote at the tv.
I hope my opinion hasnt offended any one but it's mine and I couldnt care less if you dont agree. I hope that last part doesn't sound mean. I especially dont want to offend Matthew or Mahwish or Laura or any one else Ive come to like.

don't worry, its GREAT NEWS that they got him, but it IS sort of frustrating that they have to make a big huge deal and make you miss your movie! i was sort of getting frustrated with that when the world trade centre collapsed. i was DEVASTATED when that happened!!! i hated it! i cried! but for days and days that was all that was on TV and it frustrated me because every time i turned on the TV i was reminded of the poor people near it and in the planes... 
gahhh why would they do that

Everyone thinks that they like to go bomb people for fun. They don't. They ARE extremists but they don't go kill millions of people for fun. They have a reason. They even tell you for crying out loud. But the government just ignores it. All this bad stuff is connected. And yes, I know why everything gets bombed because I watch World news tonight with Peter Jennings.
You didn't offend anyone Triad, it's only natural to get annoyed with joyous news.

Well I just didn't understand why the Aus news had to cover it soo much. Yeh alright it was massively good news for America but Aus isn't involved, he never bombed us, he never did anything to us but the way our tv presenters were acting it was like a great weight had been lifted off us. I was in shock when the trade towers collapsed, I couldnt believe my eyes, but with that too they just drummed it into us, everynight on ebery channel for like a year thats what we heard. Our pm is a moron, he should have kept us to ourselves. dont get me wrong im proud of our soldiers, but it was unnecessary from my point of view. I could go on for hours but id just annoy people. If you do want to listen to it then ill continue but til then i'll keep my tongue in my mouth.

But if your bashing the Aus pm then it should be ok. I know your not Aussie but he's an idiot so it doesn't matter who bags him. Have you seen our pm? Like on the news and stuff?

I liv in Central America and Our local Tv channels gave too little coverage on Sadam's capture(Sudnay).
I suppose because the people from the newsprogrammes were not working that day, they were probably relaxing in their homes.
Too little coverage is also bad, becaue if you didn't have cable TV in my country you wouldn't have knowed that Sadam was Captured until Monday
